About the Authors
Alex is a former professional basketball MVP, coach, and co-founder of the National Basketball Training Center in the Philippines, which now serves over 15,000 athletes annually worldwide. He is also co-founder of ValorPro Global and co-author of Guiding Your Child’s Athletic Journey. Today, he speaks to parents, educators, and leaders about resilience, growth, and why character outlasts championships.
Kevin Dalafu
Kevin is a dedicated educator and leader with a strong foundation in athletics and leadership. Formerly a captain at Vanguard University, he extended his basketball career in the Philippines. Now Head of School at Kings Christian School in Central California, Kevin brings over a decade of leadership experience to inspire students. Recognized five times as East Sierra League Coach of the Year, he has guided his teams to two league championships. Kevin shares his insights with parents and educators on aligning values with education and fostering character development.
